The IFCMA offers Shihon Testing/Promotion Boards upon request. Martial artists are evaluated, tested, and promoted based on their time-in-grade, level of proficiency, technical expertise and knowledge of their style of system.
The IFCMA offers black belt testing in three areas:
Korean-style karate (from 1st-4th degree black belt)
Japanese-Okinawan-style karate (from 1st-5th degree)
Judo-Jujitsu (from 1st -8th degree)
Other styles and belt levels may be available upon request.
